Usage Tips

  • Soak Before First Use
    Immerse in clean water for 1–2 hours before using. This helps strengthen the pores of terracotta and prevents seepage.
  • Gentle Cleaning Only
    Use mild soap or natural cleansers with a soft sponge. Avoid harsh detergents, boiling water shocks, or metal scrubbers.
  • Air Dry Completely
    Always let the mug/kulhad dry fully in open air before storing. Moisture trapped inside terracotta can weaken it over time.
  • Avoid Sudden Temperature Changes
    Do not pour boiling liquids directly into a cold terracotta vessel (or vice versa), as it may cause cracks.
  • Store Safely
    Keep in a cool, dry place. If stacking, place a soft cloth or paper in between to prevent scratches and chipping.
